Workshop - Embroidery on clothing

I've created this fun-filled brand new online workshop dedicated to learning the ultimate art of upcycling - embroidery on clothing. 

Join me on Zoom from anywhere in the world on Tuesday 19th November from 7-9pm. 

In this session, we'll run through all the basics of hand stitching on clothing including all important techniques such as chain stitch, satin stitch and even some couching. Once we've run through the stitches, we'll talk about the different techniques for design and how best to apply stitches to different garments.

Finally, we'll talk all things canvas and try a sample stitch using your new skills before you head off to your own wardrobe and upcycle...well EVERYTHING!

You will need:

• 1x 7" embroidery hoop
• 1x Embroidery needle
• Embroidery floss in a range of colours
• Scrap fabric to fit your hoop or a garment to stitch on 
• Dissolvable canvas (I recommend DMC Magic paper)
• Dissolvable pen (optional)
• PDF Pattern (included in the ticket price)
